Methacrylate, also called Acrylic Glass or PMMA (Poly Methyl Methacrylate, technically named), is not only meeting perfectly that previous statement but also has significant technical quality features that make it of excellent versatility for working with it, with unlimited ideas of shape, thicknesses and measurements.

For instance, compared to GLASS, PMMA has a great ductility, better thermal and acoustic insulation, 10 times stronger, higher resistance and brightness, and is uncolored, lighter and more transparent etc. In addition PMMA is highly recyclable material and this makes it a sustainable and environmentally friendly material.

Our Fundamentals

  • Design

    We hardly have any limits in designing. Our customer’s ideas are studied technically and developed carefully following the initial requirements. Once the design is done, our engineering department will analyse its viability.

  • Engineering and Technical support

    Our engineering department will study the viability of the technical design, the constraints that can appear and will make the calculations, FEA simulations, drawings, details and instructions for every project. We calculate all parameters than can affect the materials involved in the solution according to, for instance, type of water, disinfection system, hydrostatic pressure, material deflection, temperatures, placement procedure, kind of sealing materials including special ones for delicate biodiversity environment, , etc.

  • Research and innovation

    We have a department of research where we test all procedures:

    • Bonding and welding PMMA joints

    • Annealing procedures of PMMA plates and welded joints

    • Different sealing systems.

  • Quality and Warranty

    The quality of our materials allows us to offer a warranty on each of the materials involved according to the warranty of the manufacturer. The warranty for PMMA is not shorter than 10 years against aging as it is written in detailed specifications conditions in our documentation. This warranty may vary depending on the requirements of quality PMMA, in some cases is possible to offer 30 years of optical warranty.
